| Even though the movie is over 30 years old, The Exorcist still holds up as the scariest film of all time. There is something about an innoncent 12-year-old girl suddenly becoming evil and creepy-voiced that just works. As for the other films on my list, I was shooting for films that were more atmospherically and conceptually scary than films that just aimed to startle by having something jump into view accompanied by a musical crescendo. |
